Important checklist for House Washing

For us to achieve the ultimate clean there is DILUTED BLEACH present in cleaning solution.

Please read the information below to prepare before we arrive.

This will ensure minimal hindrances on the day and will help us to deliver the highest quality clean!

Although we do not use high pressure cleaning on the house it is still possible for some water to get inside the home through window or door frame leakage as we have to rinse off after. All care is taken to prevent this from happening. Use old towels if you are concerned with leakage.

Ensure your windows and doors are closed and INFORM US IF YOU KNOW THEY LEAK. To ensure items within your home are free from possible discolouring, please move couches, furniture, clothing, curtains and blinds away from around the window frames if the windows have a tendency to leak.  We CANNOT tell if you have leaks.  Use old towels if you are concerned about leaking.

Plain, stained, varnished, oiled furniture or timber can bleed colour even with clean water. We cannot ensure that these items will not bleed colour, as this is determined by the quality of the coating and wood product used. If these cannot be removed from the area, cover tightly and seal with plastic and electrical tape to ensure they do not get wet.

Fish ponds in the cleaning areas must be covered or moved and/or sealed before cleaning starts and advise the technician of their presence and location.

Remove all washing from the clothesline prior to our arrival.

Cover, seal or remove any external non weather or water proof electrical items i.e. light switches, security systems, televisions etc.

Make sure any external electrical outlets, fuse boxes are weather or water proof.

If you have a fuse box in a location not easily viewable i.e. under balconies or decks, please ensure these are properly sealed and notify us of their location prior to cleaning.

We strongly recommend that you tape up ANY exterior power points to avoid power tripping due to water getting into them.

The work area will be wet and dripping – Please stay inside once work commences or vacate prior to it starting as you may be dripped on causing discolouring of clothing. Please speak with technician before process begins.

We are coming to clean the outside of your house. Make sure that the above checklist is complete and all items/belongings are put away and/or tightly covered.  We cannot be held liable for damages to items that are not weather or water proof or have the incorrect exterior coatings. This also includes power loss.

Important Checklist for Roof Cleaning

There is always an element of risk for leakage due to possible cracked tiles, corroded pointing on  valleys etc.

Underneath the grime we cannot be certain that your roof will not leak as this comes down to the general condition of the roof. All roof cleaning is done at the owners risk.

For customers on tank water, please disconnect or divert down pipe prior to our arrival to avoid tainted water entering the tank. If you have been unable to do this please advise us so we can assist where possible.

Please remove any items in the immediate areas that may be affected by dirty water fallout from roof.

eg. furniture, toys, washing on clothesline etc

Please make us aware if you know of any downpipes that flow away from the direction of the curb. i.e. through another property.

We strongly recommend that your roof be inspected by a qualified roofer before your roof clean (if you have cement tile or terracotta tile) to ensure that all valleys and tiles are sealed properly so as not to leak.

We cannot be held liable for damages to items that are not weather or water proof or have not been sealed properly or that have incorrect exterior coatings. This also includes power loss.

Important Checklist for Pressure Cleaning on the ground

Please be aware that pressure cleaning even on cement or any surface can be abrasive it will be done at the owners risk.

Please ensure all items in the vicinity are moved to allow our team to effectively clean the whole area for example, pot plans, bird cages, outdoor furniture, electrical items etc.  We strongly recommend that you tape up ANY exterior power points to avoid power tripping due to water getting into them.

PRESSURE CLEANING CAN BE HARSH – Please make us aware of any areas of concern BEFORE we begin pressure cleaning

eg. cracks, chips, soft areas, weakened areas, etc

We cannot be held liable for damages to items that are not weather or water proof or have not been sealed properly or that have incorrect exterior coatings. This also includes power loss.
